The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training said it has planned 142 examination sites (including 132 regular examination sites and 10 specialized examination sites) with 3,558 examination rooms; mobilized more than 10,000 teachers as invigilators and 2,070 service staff. Each examination site is arranged with 3 additional backup rooms to handle special and arising cases.

Regarding coordination with relevant units to organize a safe and serious exam, the Department of Education and Training has proactively coordinated closely with 14 departments, branches, sectors and units, comprehensively implementing in many fields: security - safety, health - medical, technical infrastructure, traffic, etc. In order to effectively implement the direction of the City People's Committee, create the most favorable conditions for candidates and ensure the exam takes place successfully.
The entrance exam for grade 10 high school and specialized high school for the 2025-2026 school year will take place over 2 days: June 6 and 7, 2025. Candidates will take the exam in Literature, Math, Foreign Language, and specialized/integrated subjects.

Ho Chi Minh City Police have deployed nearly 1,000 officers and soldiers to ensure exam safety. Police units and localities proactively coordinate with school principals to organize propaganda and mobilize students and parents to comply with legal regulations, especially traffic laws, ensure fire prevention and fighting safety; arrange appropriate travel time, ensure on time according to school rules and regulations, exam regulations; coordinate with examination councils to proactively check security and safety of exam equipment; grasp the situation, review and check candidates' information to prevent and handle acts of hiring, taking exams for others, and using high-tech devices to cheat during exams.

The city police also strengthened their grasp of the situation, proactively detected and handled early and remotely any risks that could endanger the security and safety of the exam; strictly handled violations of the law such as buying and selling high-tech equipment to cheat on exams; organizing exams for hire or on behalf of others; posting false information about the exam or taking advantage of the exam to post false information.
