The International Baby Products and Toys Exhibition (IBTE 2023) will take place concurrently with the International Gifts and Household Goods Exhibition (IGHE) and the Electronic and Intelligent Equipment Exhibition (IEAE).
The exhibition series continues to receive support from the Ministry of Industry and Trade , organized by VINEXAD & CHAOUY EXPO Company, in coordination with the Vietnam Association for Consumer Goods Development (VACOD); Vietnam Electronics Industry Association (VEIA).
Accordingly, the exhibition chain has increased in scale with over 550 booths divided into corresponding product areas: Mother and baby products and children's toys (IBTE); Gifts and household appliances (IGHE); Electronics and smart devices (IEAE).
As the most professional B2B exhibition on toys and children's products in Vietnam, IBTE 2023 with an exhibition area of 1,000m2 will feature 200 factories specializing in exporting products for mothers and babies; toys, children's products, and trendy entertainment to meet the needs of children aged 0-14.
The organization of the International Exhibition of Children's Products and Toys aims to help companies connect supply and demand effectively, with the long-term goal of building IBTE into the most professional and influential B2B exhibition on toys and children's products in Southeast Asia.
In addition to pursuing innovations in product design and creativity, consumers' toy choices are increasingly diverse, from different materials to product functions, children'seducational toys, assembly toys, remote controls, electronic game consoles, multimedia games, etc.
In addition, safety and high quality issues have become a new direction for the young generation of parents when shopping for products for their children, especially in choosing safe products such as: baby strollers, baby carriers, walkers, high chairs, milk bottles and nutrition-related products.
The exhibition organizers cited information from market research company Grand View Research showing that the global children's clothing market was valued at 38.82 billion USD in 2021 and is expected to expand at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 18.9% from 2022 to 2030.
In Southeast Asia, Vietnam is a potential market with the highest proportion of households with children. Of which, 12% of households have children under 1 year old and 20% of households have children aged 1-2 years old. This is a potential segment promoting consumption of mother and baby products and children's toys that businesses have not yet fully exploited. On average, nationwide, each parent spends about 500,000 VND/month on a child. In Ho Chi Minh City alone, this level is three times higher, about 1.5 million VND/month.
