On January 23, Hong Duc 2 Hospital was inaugurated and put into operation in An Phu Dong Ward, District 12. Attending the ceremony were comrades: Nguyen Thi Thu Ha, former Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee; Duong Anh Duc, Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Duong Anh Duc said that the Hong Duc Hospital chain has been a unit that has participated in the city's health system for a long time and has created prestige in society. The hospital has constantly strived to improve the professional qualifications and skills of its medical staff to provide high-quality medical services at reasonable costs and create trust and prestige in the hearts of patients, people, the government and the whole society.

According to comrade Duong Anh Duc, in parallel with the public health system, the private health system (non-public health system) in Ho Chi Minh City is developing very well and has many high-quality medical examination and treatment facilities, including the Hong Duc health system. "Ho Chi Minh City hopes that Hong Duc 2 Hospital will promote its role in improving people's health care, actively participating in the health network of Ho Chi Minh City in particular and Vietnam in general," comrade Duong Anh Duc emphasized.

On this occasion, Hong Duc General Hospital signed a joint venture contract with TSURUHA Group (Japan) and Hong Dang Joint Stock Company; signed a cooperation agreement between the Vietnam Red Cross Society and the "Health is Number 1" fund (OneHealth Foundation).

Hong Duc 2 General Hospital, address 259 An Phu Dong 3 Street, An Phu Dong Ward, District 12, is located near important traffic routes such as National Highway 1A, National Highway 13, bordering Go Vap District, District 12, Thu Duc City and Binh Duong Province.

The hospital is built modernly and conveniently with a capacity of 215 inpatient beds, advanced Hybrid operating room, DSA, MRI 3.0 Tesla, 128-slice CT scan, automatic testing system, high accuracy... The hospital has strengths in performing surgery, surgical intervention in many fields such as: trauma - orthopedics, oncology, thoracic - vascular... The hospital is preparing to deploy a Vascular Intervention Unit to meet the increasing demand for prevention and treatment of cardiovascular events that tend to increase in the community.
