(Dan Tri) - Revenue from land in Ho Chi Minh City will reach more than VND 25,300 billion in 2024, an increase of 47% over the previous year.
The Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Ho Chi Minh City has just reported on the results of natural resources and environment work in 2024 and the direction and tasks for 2025.
In 2024, the Department issued 5,789 first-time certificates (Certificates) to organizations and individuals. The Department registered land changes with more than 367,500 Certificates to organizations and individuals, of which individuals accounted for the majority.
The Department has also advised on the establishment of a working group to resolve issues related to the granting of certificates of land use rights, house ownership rights and other assets attached to land in commercial housing development projects, ensuring compliance with legal regulations.
Accordingly, the master plan includes 4 main contents including: determining the purpose and requirements in solving the problems of granting certificates; assessing the development situation and the work of granting certificates at commercial housing projects, identifying difficulties, classifying and implementing solutions; developing human resources and facilities to improve the efficiency of handling records; publicizing and transparently providing information on projects, updating the progress of removing difficulties and granting certificates.

In addition to the achieved results, the Department found that there were still limitations in the coordination of handling documents at some related units, which were not smooth, and documents were sent back and forth, prolonging the time for handling documents for businesses.

In 2025, the Department identifies the key tasks as promoting administrative reform, simplifying procedures, and enhancing the application of information technology in land and environmental management.
At the same time, the Department will focus on implementing new regulations of the 2024 Land Law, ensuring the completion of tasks on compensation, support, resettlement, granting of certificates for commercial housing projects, land auctions inside and outside Thu Thiem area...
