Tra Vinh agrees in principle to allow investors to study Ngu Lac Industrial Park project
The Chairman of Tra Vinh Provincial People's Committee agreed in principle to the joint venture of Truong Thanh Vietnam Group Joint Stock Company and Green i-Park Joint Stock Company to study the investment project to build and operate infrastructure for Ngu Lac Industrial Park with an area of about 1,241 hectares.
Vice Chairman of Tra Vinh Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Quynh Thien has just signed and issued a document on surveying and researching the investment project to build and operate infrastructure of Ngu Lac Industrial Park (IP).
Accordingly, considering Report No. 342/BC-BQLKKT dated October 25, 2024 of the Tra Vinh Economic Zone Management Board, the Provincial People's Committee proposed to consider approving the survey policy and prepare a project dossier for investment in construction and business of infrastructure of Ngu Lac Industrial Park of the Joint Venture of Truong Thanh Vietnam Group Joint Stock Company and Green i-Park Joint Stock Company; Official dispatch No. 69/2024/CV-TTVN-GiP dated October 21, 2024 of the Joint Venture of Truong Thanh Vietnam Group Joint Stock Company and Green i-Park Joint Stock Company on surveying, researching and preparing a proposal for the Ngu Lac Industrial Park project in Dinh An Economic Zone, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee agreed in principle for the Joint Venture of Truong Thanh Vietnam Group Joint Stock Company and Green i-Park Joint Stock Company to survey and research the investment project to construct and operate the infrastructure of Ngu Lac Industrial Park with an area of about 1,241 hectares as proposed by the Tra Vinh Economic Zone Management Board in Report No. 342/BC-BQLKKT dated October 25, 2024.

Tra Vinh Provincial People's Committee requests the investor to closely coordinate with the Tra Vinh Economic Zone Management Board to receive guidance and support in surveying the above project to ensure compliance with planning, feasibility and compliance with current laws; after surveying, send the dossier to the Tra Vinh Economic Zone Management Board to report to the Provincial People's Committee (the investor will cover the survey costs).
At the same time, assign the Tra Vinh Economic Zone Management Board to be the focal point to guide and support investors in the implementation process.
According to the Planning of Tra Vinh province for the period of 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050 approved by the Prime Minister in Decision No. 1142/QD-TTg dated October 2, 2023, in the period of 2021 - 2030, Tra Vinh province has Dinh An Economic Zone in Duyen Hai town, Duyen Hai district, Tra Cu district with an area of 39,020 hectares; 2 existing industrial parks are Long Duc Industrial Park (Tra Vinh city), area of 98 hectares; Co Chien Industrial Park (Cang Long district), area of 200 hectares; 2 planned industrial parks are Cau Quan Industrial Park (Tieu Can district, Cau Ke district), area of 120 hectares; Industrial park in Dinh An Economic Zone (within Dinh An Economic Zone), area of 392 hectares.
It is expected to develop 6 more industrial parks within the Dinh An Economic Zone in case of being supplemented with national land use planning indicators and meeting the conditions for industrial parks according to the provisions of law, including: Industrial - urban - service park with an area of 1,241 hectares, Don Xuan - Don Chau Industrial Park with an area of 934 hectares, Dinh An Industrial Park with an area of 591 hectares, Industrial park belonging to Tra Cu Port with an area of 150 hectares, Long Khanh Industrial Park Development Reserve Area with an area of 993 hectares, Long Vinh Industrial Park Development Reserve Area with an area of 1,773 hectares.
