Experience the colorful applications and beauty of mathematics

On December 8, at Tran Dai Nghia Secondary and High School (District 1, Ho Chi Minh City), the Institute for Advanced Study in Mathematics in collaboration with the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City and the University of Natural Sciences organized the Open Mathematics Festival 2024 with the theme Playing with Math.

The Open Math Festival is a series of open activities on math and STEM that attracted nearly 6,000 students, teachers from high schools and university students in Ho Chi Minh City, Tra Vinh , Dong Nai, Binh Duong... to participate. The festival created an opportunity for a large number of students, teachers, parents, mathematicians and educators to discuss current topics in math and math education. Together, experience and enjoy the beauty and learn about the colorful applications of math in science and life.

Traditionally, the Open Mathematics Festival includes two parallel activities.
