In the long term, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism proposed that the People's Committee of Hue City direct the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Hue City to coordinate with specialized agencies in the area to develop a disaster risk management plan to be more proactive in identifying, preventing, responding to, minimizing and recovering from natural disaster risks for relics in the area...

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism also highly appreciated the sense of responsibility and proactiveness of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Hue City, the Hue Monuments Conservation Center, museums and relic management boards in the area in the work of natural disaster prevention, response and overcoming the consequences of floods, contributing to minimizing damage to cultural heritages in the area.
Previously, as Thanh Nien reported, due to continuous rain and flooding with intensity and wide scope, at about 6:45 p.m. on November 2, a wall located in the north of Hue Imperial Citadel (adjacent to the park along Dang Thai Than Street, Phu Xuan Ward) collapsed a section of about 15 meters long.
Immediately after that, the Hue Monuments Conservation Center deployed safety measures and set up warning signs to protect the safety of residents, tourists and staff working in the area. The Center also invited representatives of the Hue City Department of Construction to the scene for initial survey, inspection and assessment.
