At the Singapore station, the Vietnamese representative brought a culturally rich performance with a performance of Ly Bac Bo, expressing the musical spirit of the North. With her distinctive voice, vibrato technique and drum performance, Phuong My Chi not only conveyed the sound but also recreated the images and lively atmosphere of the Vietnamese countryside.
The highlight of the performance was the combination with Pushing the Ox Cart - a composition by DTAP inspired by the short story "The Beggar's Wife" by writer Kim Lan. The entire performance was a combination of folk and modern art, carrying a clear message about cultural identity and national pride.

Phuong My Chi's performance received enthusiastic cheers from the audience at the studio.
Judge Thai Kien Nha praised: "I think young people should learn from this girl. When the majority pursue pop music, she chose a different path, a path with Vietnamese identity. And most of all, she turned that into her own personality. I really like it."
Online judges also highly appreciated Phuong My Chi's performance for her efforts to honor Vietnamese culture on the international stage.
However, in the direct confrontation round, Phuong My Chi had to compete with the representative from China - Vuong Hoang Hao. As a result, the Chinese representative won overwhelmingly with 20/23 votes, while Phuong My Chi only received 3 votes.
The result was a disappointment to many viewers. In particular, the fact that the Vietnamese representative lost by such a large margin (3 votes to 20 votes) is causing controversy. Some opinions say that the continuous selection of folk-themed performances put Phuong My Chi at a disadvantage against her opponent who had a more catchy and modern performance.
However, others affirmed that, although she did not win points, Phuong My Chi "won the hearts" of domestic audiences by spreading Vietnamese culture confidently and creatively.

The female singer's representative also shared about the above results: "Because she won in the previous round, Phuong My Chi was sure to enter the quarterfinals. At that time, winning or losing was not so important, but exchanging and bringing culture to the world was the priority goal. Because we were safe, we chose a strategy of distributing our strength reasonably, not to win one match, but to win the whole journey."
DTAP group, who accompanied Phuong My Chi in the above performance, also emphasized: "We do not bring sadness to the stage, but bring faith, resilience and pride. Folk songs are not only the past but also the living present. That is what we want international friends to feel about Vietnam.
Phuong My Chi and DTAP not only introduce ethnic music, but also send a clear message about identity, diversity and innovation in regional musical spiritual life."
Despite losing the match, Phuong My Chi still won the right to enter the quarter-finals in Hong Kong (China) thanks to her previous victory over the "king of stations" in Vietnam.
