Awarding 100 million VND in scholarships to studious students in Dam Rong district

Lam Dong Provincial Journalists Association in coordination with the Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development of Vietnam ( Agribank ) and the People's Committee of Dam Rong district has just organized the awarding of 100 scholarships to poor students who have overcome difficulties and excelled in their studies in Phi Lieng and Da K'Nang communes.

On this occasion, Lam Dong Provincial Journalists Association together with representatives of the People's Committee of Dam Rong District, the Department of Education and Training of the district and the leaders of Agribank of Dam Rong District awarded 100 scholarships (worth 1 million VND/scholarship) to poor students who overcame difficulties and studied well in the two communes mentioned above. The total cost of 100 million VND was sponsored by the Vietnam Journalists Association, mobilizing Agribank to sponsor.

Speaking at the ceremony, journalist Le Van Toa, Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial Journalists Association, thanked Agribank for accompanying the association in presenting meaningful and practical gifts to the students. This is a great source of encouragement to help the students strive, overcome difficulties, excel in their studies and training, and strive to become good children and good students, good grandchildren of Uncle Ho.
