Donated 25 wheelchairs to disabled people in difficult circumstances

The leaders of the Provincial Red Cross Society awarded a Certificate of recognition for their golden heart of humanity to Venerable Thich Minh Giac, Abbot of Hoa Lac Pagoda.

At the program, 25 wheelchairs worth a total of 50 million VND sponsored by Venerable Thich Minh Giac, Member of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, Abbot of Hoa Lac Pagoda, were presented to people with disabilities; of which, 15 were given to people with disabilities living in Phu Ly city, the remaining 10 were given to people with disabilities living in Kim Bang town and Thanh Liem district.

The wheelchairs are the sentiments of Venerable Thich Minh Giac and the Buddhists of Hoa Lac Pagoda to support and encourage the disabled and the less fortunate to be more convenient and proactive in moving and in life, reducing the burden on their families and relatives. This meaningful act also shows gratitude and appreciation in the spirit of Buddhism.
