Awarding 66 prizes at the "Culinary Flavors of Lang Son" Contest in the spring of At Ty 2025

- On February 24 (January 27, At Ty year), at Lang Son Trade Fair Center, Lang Son City People's Committee organized the award ceremony of the "Culinary Flavors of Lang" Contest of Lang Son city, expanding the At Ty spring 2025. This event is part of a series of activities to celebrate the Party, celebrate the At Ty spring associated with the Ky Cung - Ta Phu Festival.

The award ceremony was attended by leaders of several provincial departments, branches, districts and cities in the province; leaders of the People's Committee of Bac Giang city (Bac Giang province). Also attending were delegations from Chongzuo city, Pingxiang town, Guangxi, China; several neighboring provinces, along with a large number of people and tourists from all over the country.

The expanded " Culinary Flavors of Lang Son" contest in Lang Son city took place on February 23 and 24 (ie January 26-27, At Ty year), with 4 contents: beautiful booth display contest and local specialty products; sticky rice cake and mugwort pounding contest; pig roasting contest; duck roasting contest. Participating in the contest and fair this year were 40 booths of 40 units inside and outside the province; 8 teams pounding sticky rice cake and mugwort pounding contest; 23 pig roasting contest teams and 10 duck roasting contest teams using traditional methods.

As a result, the organizing committee awarded 66 prizes for 4 contest categories, including: 4 first prizes, 8 second prizes, 12 third prizes, 42 consolation prizes and thematic prizes. In which, Cao Loc District People's Committee won first prize in the beautiful booth display contest; Binh Gia District People's Committee won first prize in the pig roasting contest; Van Quan District People's Committee won first prize in the duck roasting contest; Mai Pha Traditional Cooperative won first prize in the rice cake and mugwort pounding contest.

After the award ceremony, delegates, people, and tourists from all over visited the booths, enjoyed and experienced the culinary culture and OCOP products of Lang Son and some neighboring provinces.

The program has created opportunities for units inside and outside the province to exchange, learn, and share experiences in promoting and developing local cuisine; at the same time, strengthening solidarity, cohesion, and cooperation between units. Thereby contributing to promoting Lang cuisine, promoting cultural development and tourism in the province.
