The Reading Culture Ambassador Contest is not only a knowledge playground, but also a journey to discover the vast world through each page of a book, an opportunity for each person to spread the love of reading to the community, arousing the desire to contribute to the development of the locality and the country.

Through the Lao Cai Province Reading Culture Ambassador Contest, it shows that units and localities are increasingly interested in reading culture, actively responding to the reading movement and the contest.

Thanks to innovation and creativity in organization, by June 5, 2025, 9/9 districts, towns, cities, 26/35 high schools, 2 colleges and universities in the province had organized the contest, attracting 55,774 students from 337 schools in the province to participate.

Through the evaluation of the results, the Organizing Committee of the Lao Cai Province Reading Culture Ambassador Contest found that the participating students understood the importance of reading and paid close attention to the current goal of developing a reading culture. Most of the works selected by the students for the contest were inspirational.

Many entries have demonstrated excellence in ideas, book content selection, sharing, and creativity; many entries have invested elaborately in form, beautiful handwriting, and impressive illustrations.

In particular, some entries have invested elaborately in accompanying models. Each entry is a story, a unique perspective on the world of books, demonstrating the love and wonderful creativity of the students.

At the provincial round, the Organizing Committee received 348 entries, including 300 written entries, 48 video entries, and 13 excellent candidates entered the interview round to select outstanding Ambassadors at all levels.

As a result, the Organizing Committee of the Lao Cai Province Reading Culture Ambassador Contest 2025 awarded 73 prizes including: 11 collective prizes; 52 individual prizes and 10 thematic prizes for collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements.

The 6 best entries were selected and sent to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to participate in the national final round.
