This time, the house was handed over to 2 families, including: Mrs. Huynh Thi Bich Thu's household, in Vuon Vu hamlet, Tan My commune, with an area of 51.6 m2, total construction cost of 141 million VND; Mr. Le Huy Binh's household, in hamlet 1, Tan Dinh commune, with an area of 56 m2, total construction cost of 145 million VND.
Accordingly, the Provincial Red Cross Association supported each household with 100 million VND to build a house, the rest was donated by benefactors and additional contributions from the family.
On the day of receiving the new house, the two families also received many meaningful gifts from the Provincial, District, and Local Red Cross Associations and benefactors.
These are two humanitarian projects carried out by the Red Cross Society in response to the program “Joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses” launched by the Government and the province. Both families receiving houses this time are near-poor households, with many difficulties in life. Therefore, having a house will help them settle down soon, continue to work hard to overcome difficulties, and have a more and more stable life.
