Donated 24 table tennis tables to schools

At the end of the year, 24 schools in La Gi town were each given a table tennis table worth 10 million VND/table (including rackets and balls). It is known that the sponsorship will continue to be given to the remaining schools in the coming time.

Mr. Tran Dung, Chairman of the La Gi town table tennis club, said: "This is a gift from a Vietnamese expatriate from La Gi, who authorized Mr. Mai Duc Hung, a member of the table tennis club, to sponsor students from schools in his hometown with the hope that students will gradually approach table tennis to reduce playing games."

After installing the table tennis tables in many schools, the Table Tennis Club will send people to the schools to provide technical support for a period of time to guide and provide initial training for teachers and students.

“The La Gi town table tennis club has won many high prizes in the province. We hope to have a successor team to continue the sports tradition.

Hopefully schools will create conditions for students to participate in training. On March 26, the town table tennis club will organize a table tennis tournament for school students so that in 2025, table tennis will be one of the competitions in the town's Phu Dong Sports Festival," said Mr. Tran Dung, Head of the table tennis club.
