Over 1 million tourists came to Quang Ninh during the 4-day holiday of April 30

Quang Ninh Museum welcomes many foreign visitors.

Of which, international visitors are estimated at 84,200, reaching 110% compared to the same period in 2024. Overnight visitors are estimated at 420,000, reaching 109% compared to the same period in 2024. Total tourism revenue is estimated at VND 2,766 billion, reaching 142% compared to the same period in 2024.

The capital city of Ha Long continued to affirm its attraction with a total number of visitors in 4 days reaching 580,000, accounting for 58% of the total number of visitors to Quang Ninh. International visitors reached 37,300. Total budget revenue reached about 1,660 billion VND. Tourist attractions in Ha Long City recorded a high number of visitors, 2-3 times higher than normal days.

The routes to Co To, Van Don, Mong Cai, and Bai Tu Long Bay islands also saw a sudden increase in the number of visitors; the beaches were crowded, and the accommodation facilities were highly efficient. Ao Tien International Port alone recorded a record increase in the number of visitors. There were about 470 ships carrying more than 35,000 visitors to the routes to Co To, Quan Lan, and Minh Chau islands.

On May 3 alone, the total number of tourists visiting tourist attractions in all localities of Quang Ninh province was estimated at 216,000. Ha Long city reached 125,000 visitors; Mong Cai city reached 42,770 visitors; Uong Bi city reached 19,500 visitors; Van Don district reached 25,000 visitors; Co To district reached 4,000 visitors.

Tourist attractions continued to welcome a high number of visitors on the fourth day of the holiday. Ha Long Bay welcomed 17,000 visitors, of which 6,200 were international visitors; Sun World Park welcomed about 10,000 visitors; Quang Ninh Museum welcomed 7,700 visitors; Yen Tu National Special Relic Site welcomed about 3,000 visitors. International visitors entering through Mong Cai border gate reached over 4,800.

It is expected that in the second quarter of 2025, Quang Ninh tourism industry aims to welcome 5.3 million visitors. Total tourism revenue is estimated at 14,720 billion VND.
