Implementing 3 State-level Rural and Mountainous Area Projects

Lam Dong province has implemented 3 state-level Rural and Mountainous Projects in the past 5 years with remarkable results.

Specifically, the project "Application of new technical advances for sustainable development of mulberry growing and silkworm raising in Da Teh district" intensively cultivates 10 hectares of mulberry varieties S7-CB, TBL03, yielding over 25 tons/ha/year; raising silkworms in 2 stages with a yield of 40 kg of cocoons/egg box.

Following the project "Application of scientific and technological advances in growing some yellow camellia species (Camellia spp.) in Lam Dong" a garden of 75 original seedlings was established at the Lam Dong Center for Science and Technology Application; 1,250 shoots and cuttings were multiplied in Di Linh district; and 0.6 ha was planted in Da Huoai district.

The remaining Project "Application of scientific and technological advances to build and operate the vegetable, root and fruit chain in Lam Dong province" builds 11 models of applying high technology to the production of vegetables, roots and fruits that achieve VietGAP certification...
