Attending the conference were leaders, managers, teachers of grade 12 of high schools, boarding schools for ethnic minorities in junior high and high schools, and vocationaleducation and continuing education centers of the province.

The 2023-2024 school year is the last year of implementing the 2006 General Education Program. As a result, the province's high school graduation rate reached 99.68%, of which high school reached 99.78% and continuing education reached 99.04% (an increase of 0.18% compared to the previous year).

2025 is the first year to organize the high school graduation exam according to the 2018 General Education Program. The exam is organized in a stable, safe, and serious manner, but with adjustments to the exam structure, enhancing the application of knowledge, skills, and synthetic thinking in accordance with the educational orientation of developing learners' qualities and abilities, ensuring the classification of candidates. The formula for considering graduation scores and recognizing high school graduation has also changed.

Faced with that requirement, exam preparation work needs to be strictly managed, organized systematically, scientifically , flexibly, closely following the new orientation and ensuring proper implementation of Circular No. 29 on regulations on extra teaching and learning.

The conference agreed on management solutions to improve the quality of review management for 12th graders to participate in the 2025 high school graduation exam after receiving the results of the graduation mock exam according to the exam questions of the Department of Education and Training; directed a number of key tasks on professional work to complete the tasks of the 2024-2025 school year.
