Pilot implementation of 6 unemployment insurance procedures on the Public Service Portal

Social Insurance has piloted receiving applications and paying unemployment insurance according to 6 unemployment insurance procedures on the National Public Service Portal.

On August 11, 2025, Vietnam Social Security issued Official Dispatch No. 1879/BHXH-CSXH to its affiliated units and Social Security of provinces and centrally run cities on the pilot implementation of receiving dossiers and paying unemployment insurance according to 6 unemployment insurance procedures on the National Public Service Portal.

The procedures being piloted through the National Public Service Portal include: Monthly job search notification for force majeure cases, unemployment benefit settlement, suspension, continuation, termination, and transfer of unemployment benefit locations, with the aim of improving payment efficiency and service access for policy participants./.
