This will be the performance with the largest number of drones (light projection art using unmanned aircraft) in Southeast Asia to date.
The Hanoi Art Light Festival - Brilliant Thang Long was performed by 2,024 drones on New Year's Eve.
With the theme “A day in the capital - A thousand years of history”, the drone performance will be a unique work of artistic light that encapsulates the quintessence of Thang Long land, bringing a special and meaningful experience to people and tourists right on New Year's Eve.
From the name Thang Long - a symbol of the strength and aspiration of the Vietnamese people, the performance will bring the story of the sacred dragon converging in the splendid and heroic capital, shining in the sky of Hanoi with its thousand years of civilization. In the moment of prosperity and harmony between heaven and earth, this will be a unique cultural and artistic mark to welcome the new year of Giap Thin for all the people of the capital in particular and the whole country in general with faith and hope for the prosperous development of the country.
It is expected that the "Hanoi Art Light Festival - Brilliant Thang Long" will start from 11:30 p.m. on February 9, 2024 (ie the night of the 30th of Tet) to 0:15 a.m. on February 10, 2024 (ie the early morning of the 1st of Tet) in the area of Nguyen Dinh Thi - Trich Sai street (near Van Cao intersection).
The event will take place in 2 parts: Drone performance and high-altitude fireworks display, expected to be broadcast within the framework of a special New Year's Eve television bridge of Vietnam Television (VTV).
To ensure the quality of the program as well as serve tourists and people coming to watch live, the Organizing Committee will arrange a high-quality sound system and screen around the performance area.
