Reporting at the conference, in the first quarter of 2025, the Standing Committee of the Hoi An City Party Committee issued 2 decisions to dissolve and 1 decision to establish a staff agency to assist the City Party Committee. At the same time, it issued 8 decisions to dissolve, 3 decisions to establish, and 1 decision to rename grassroots party organizations.

To date, Hoi An Party Committee has 64 grassroots party organizations with 4,756 party members; has admitted 10 new party members. In the first quarter, Hoi An City Party Committee officially transferred 9 party members who had completed their probationary period, expelled 3 party members from the party; removed the name of 1 party member for violating the Party Charter; awarded Party badges to 81 cases.

In terms of socio-economics, in the first 3 months of the year, Hoi An welcomed more than 1.28 million visitors, including more than 1.1 million international visitors (reaching 25.87% of the 2025 plan).

The total number of visitors buying tickets to visit the city's tourist attractions is about 942 thousand (including 876 thousand international visitors). The total number of visitors staying is more than 559 thousand. Tourism revenue is estimated at more than 1,500 billion VND.

Total state budget revenue in the city is estimated at 365 billion VND (16% of the estimate). Disbursement of investment capital is estimated at 80 billion VND (11% of the annual plan).

In the first quarter, Hoi An City also held a conference to announce the Project to adjust the city's master plan for the period up to 2035, with a vision to 2050.

Delegates attending the conference discussed a number of key tasks to be implemented in the second quarter such as: Organizing activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the complete liberation of the South and national reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) and the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025); effectively implementing the policy of streamlining the apparatus of the political system and organizing two-level local governments according to the direction of the Central and the province; continuing to synchronously deploy tasks and solutions to promote economic growth.
