The groundbreaking and inauguration ceremony was held under the direction of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, in the form of direct and online simultaneous broadcast in all three regions of North - Central - South, connecting online from the main bridge point of Ho Chi Minh City to all works and projects.

The Ministry of Construction - the presiding agency - said that according to the synthesis of reports from ministries, branches and localities, there were 80 projects that were started and inaugurated on this occasion, with a total investment capital of more than 445,000 billion VND, of which the total capital for starting construction was 305,000 billion VND, the total capital for inaugurated projects was 140,000 billion VND. The state budget capital was 185,000 billion VND; non-budget capital was 260,000 billion VND.

Of these, there are 40 projects in the transportation sector; 12 industrial and civil construction projects, 12 educational projects, 9 socio-cultural projects, 5 community health projects and 2 irrigation projects.

In Ho Chi Minh City alone - the main bridge with the participation of the Prime Minister, there were 6 works and projects inaugurated and started construction, including: Inauguration of Terminal T3 of Tan Son Nhat International Airport and the road connecting Tran Quoc Hoan Street - Cong Hoa Street; opening of Ben Luc - Long Thanh Expressway; inauguration of Hoc Mon General Hospital; commencement of the sea encroachment item of the Can Gio sea encroachment urban tourism project, Can Gio district; commencement of the Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 2 project (package for technical infrastructure relocation and mine clearance).

Previously, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and delegates attended the ceremony to announce the pilot implementation of the solution to apply electronic identification, authentication and biometric recognition to serve boarding procedures, chaired by units of the Ministry of Public Security, in coordination with other units.

Binh Thuan bridge: Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh attended the inauguration ceremony of 2 traffic works : The project to renew the coastal axis road DT.719B (section from National Highway 1 to Suoi Nhum bridge) and the project of Ham Kiem road to Tien Thanh (section from National Highway 1 to DT.719B road).

The project to renovate the coastal axis road DT.719B (section from National Highway 1 to Suoi Nhum bridge) invested by the Chairman of Binh Thuan Provincial People's Committee started on November 25, 2020, and completed the section from National Highway 1 to Suoi Nhum bridge on April 10, 2025.

This road section is 17.8 km long, the roadbed is 28 m wide, the road surface is 8 m x 2 = 16 m wide, the median strip is 11 m wide, the reinforced shoulder width on each side is 0.5 m; the road surface structure is asphalt concrete on crushed stone aggregate; 3 new bridges are built; synchronous investment in lighting, trees and traffic safety systems.

The total investment for the project to renovate the coastal road DT.719B is more than 1,274 billion VND (including the 25.6 km project).

The Ham Kiem - Tien Thanh Road project (from National Highway 1 to DT.719B road) started on November 16, 2021 and was completed on December 31, 2024; has a length of 7.7 km; roadbed width of 37 m, road surface width of 8 m x 2 = 16 m, median strip width of 9 m, sidewalks on each side of the road 6 m; asphalt concrete road surface structure on crushed stone aggregate foundation; construction of 3 new bridges; synchronous investment in drainage system, trees and traffic safety system. The total investment of the project is more than 419.9 billion VND.

These are two strategic transport infrastructure projects, prioritized by the province for investment to connect with the North-South expressway in the East and complete the national coastal route to the South of Phan Thiet city. Contributing to the orientation of coastal space development, expanding urban space; synchronous traffic connection, improving transport capacity; promoting and spreading the driving force brought by the project to effectively exploit the potential of the large and potential land fund of this area, promoting strong development in the fields of tourism, services, marine economy, etc.

At the same time, it contributes to promoting comprehensive socio-economic development, improving the lives of people in the areas where the project passes through and in the locality. These are not only traffic routes, these two projects also symbolize the will to rise up, the spirit of solidarity and the vision of sustainable development of the Party Committee, government and people of Binh Thuan province.

Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha attended the technical opening ceremony of two expressway sections passing through Ha Tinh province (Bai Vot - Ham Nghi, Ham Nghi - Vung Ang):

The Bai Vot - Ham Nghi section project has a total route length of about 35.28 km, passing through Duc Tho, Can Loc and Thach Ha districts, with an investment of VND 7,643.57 billion. The route has 3 intersections: QL8A intersection, Thanh Binh Thinh commune, Duc Tho district connecting Cau Treo border gate, Hong Linh town; Provincial Road 548 intersection, Trung Loc commune, Can Loc district connecting Nghen town, Dong Lo historical relic site, QL1A and the intersection with Provincial Road 550, Luu Vinh Son commune, Thach Ha district connecting with Ha Tinh city, QL1A.

The Ham Nghi - Vung Ang section project has a total length of about 54.2km, passing through the districts of Thach Ha, Cam Xuyen, Ky Anh of Ha Tinh province, with a total project investment of VND 9,734.62 billion. The section has 3 intersections: Cam Quan QL1 intersection, Cam Quan commune, Cam Xuyen district, connecting to QL1A to Cam Xuyen district center, Thien Cam tourist area; Ky Trung intersection, Ky Trung commune, Ky Anh district connecting to QL1A connecting to Ky Anh district center and QL12C intersection, Ky Tan commune, Ky Anh district connecting to Vung Ang Economic Zone and Ky Anh town.

In the divergence phase, the two expressway sections of Bai Vot - Ham Nghi and Ham Nghi - Vung Ang will meet the standards of a class 120 expressway with a scale of 4 lanes.

The completed phase is a grade 120 highway, designed speed 120km/h, scale 6 lanes.

After technical opening, the two expressway sections of Bai Vot - Ham Nghi and Ham Nghi - Vung Ang are expected to be put into operation on the main route on April 28, 2025, completing the project before June 30, 2025.

The completion and putting into use of the two expressways Bai Vot - Ham Nghi, Ham Nghi - Vung Ang contributes to completing the North - South traffic axis, creating favorable conditions for travel between the Central provinces and the whole country; opening up new development space, being an important driving force to promote the socio-economic development of Ha Tinh and the North Central region.

The two expressway sections will facilitate investment attraction in industrial parks and economic zones in Ha Tinh, contributing to creating more jobs, increasing income for local people and promoting local economic development. At the same time, the modern transportation system will help local people access healthcare, education and other services more quickly, contributing to reducing traffic accidents and environmental pollution due to reduced traffic volume on old routes.

With a total investment of 324.72 billion VND, the project is an opportunity for Thai Nguyen University to gradually perfect its governance model, modernize its facilities, continue to improve its training capacity, and expand the scale and quality of research.

Specifically, the project will invest in building a large laboratory and lecture hall for the University of Science, the Family Medicine and Medical Practice Center for the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, the N3 Lecture Hall and Practice Center for Foreign Languages, the Experimental Practice Center for the faculties of the University of Technical Education, and the Multi-purpose Hall for the University of Economics and Business Administration. Investment in building infrastructure and auxiliary works of Thai Nguyen University including: Canteen, parking lot.

In addition, the project also invests in building an information technology infrastructure connecting the entire Thai Nguyen University: Building a platform connecting a shared database of Thai Nguyen University, including two components of direct integration, data sharing and a shared data warehouse; building a centralized administrative management system of Thai Nguyen University; building a digital student platform system of Thai Nguyen University; supplementing resources at the Centralized Data Integration Center of Thai Nguyen University.

The Van Phong-Nha Trang section project is part of the North-South Expressway Construction Project, Eastern Region, Phase 2021-2025. The project has a total length of 83.35 km, passing through 04 districts and towns including Van Ninh district, Ninh Hoa town, Khanh Vinh district and Dien Khanh district of Khanh Hoa province.

The starting point (Km 285+000) connects to the southern entrance of Co Ma tunnel, in Van Ninh district, Khanh Hoa province. The end point (Km 368+350) connects to the starting point of the Nha Trang-Cam Lam section investment and construction project under the Project to build some expressway sections on the North-South eastern route in the 2017-2020 period, in Dien Khanh district, Khanh Hoa province. The total investment of the project is 11,808 billion VND.

With the huge volume of work to be done on the project, in order to complete the project ahead of schedule (about 8 months), the construction units mobilized maximum financial resources, human resources, equipment and prepared materials right from the start of construction with about 2,500 employees and over 1,200 pieces of equipment at peak time (about 1.5 times the required number of employees and equipment) to simultaneously deploy all items.

The project contributes to the completion of the important goal set by the Resolution of the 13th National Congress (by 2025, 3,000 km of expressways will be put into operation, by 2030, 5,000 km will be put into operation), as well as the emulation movement "500 days and nights of emulation to complete 3,000 km of expressways" by 2025. The project also contributes to the completion of multiple goals: Disbursing public investment capital, opening up new development space, urban areas, industrial parks, service areas for localities, creating jobs for people and businesses, increasing the added value of land, facilitating investment promotion, reducing logistics costs, increasing the competitiveness of goods and the economy.

In Long An province, the groundbreaking and inauguration ceremonies were held simultaneously for 05 key projects and works that play a role in creating new momentum and development space for the province, including the groundbreaking ceremony for the Thanh Phu commune ecological, commercial and tourism urban area project, Ben Luc district; the groundbreaking ceremony for the Mai Ba Huong residential area project, the groundbreaking ceremony for the Tandoland Industrial Park; the opening ceremony for provincial road 823D - the new Northwest axis connecting Long An-HCMC and the inauguration ceremony for the Shiliduo Company's auto parts and accessories factory project with a total investment value of over 28.8 trillion VND.

In particular, the Ecological, Commercial and Tourism Urban Area Project in Thanh Phu Commune, Ben Luc District of the Joint Venture of DB Investment and Development One Member Co., Ltd. - Ecopark Group Joint Stock Company with a scale of more than 220 hectares, total investment capital of nearly 17,000 billion VND is a project of strategic significance in shaping and developing a model urban ecosystem, ensuring the balance between economy-community-ecology, forming a high-quality living space, harmony between people and nature, while fully integrating commercial, service, educational, medical and tourism functions... to meet the trend of sustainable urbanization.

The project to build the Ninh Binh - Hai Phong expressway, the section passing through Ninh Binh province, starts at the Mai Son intersection with the North - South expressway (in Mai Son commune, Yen Mo district, Ninh Binh province), and ends at the beginning of the Day River overpass (in Khanh Cuong commune, Yen Khanh district, Ninh Binh province).

The total length of the route is 25.3 km, the design speed is 120 km/h, the roadbed width is 24.75 m including (4 complete lanes) and auxiliary works on the route.

The project has a total investment of 6,865 billion VND from the central budget of 4,865 billion VND and the provincial budget of 2,000 billion VND. The implementation period is from 2024-2026; the investor is the Ninh Binh Provincial Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board.

This is an important project, creating new momentum for the socio-economic development of Ninh Binh province and the provinces of the Red River Delta, serving as a basis to attract investors in many fields, especially urban development, industry, trade and services...
