Construction progress of Ba Lai 8 bridge reaches 11%

As of May 9, 2025, the Ba Lai 8 Bridge Construction Project on the provincial coastal road has synchronously deployed 3 bid packages. Of which, Construction Package No. 01, construction of the road section and small bridges, is focusing on organic dredging, reinforced cajuput pile driving, roadbed sand filling and bored pile construction.

Construction package No. 02 for the construction of the main bridge and access road is currently constructing piers, service roads, service bridges, bored piles, excavating unsuitable soil and filling the roadbed with sand. The estimated completed volume is 11%. Construction package No. 03 for the construction of the connecting route is currently excavating the roadbed.

The Ba Lai 8 bridge construction project on the coastal road of the province was started on October 2, 2024. The project is divided into 3 packages. In terms of scale, the Ba Lai 8 bridge is 527.6m long, the main span is a balanced cantilever structure, the approach spans are simple girders, the design load is HL.93; the bridge is 22.5m wide. The 12,372.4m long access road is designed as a class III plain road; the road surface is hot asphalt concrete, including 4 lanes for motor vehicles and 2 lanes for mixed vehicles.

The project has an area of ​​about 42.6 hectares, forest land of 13.09 hectares (of which Ba Tri district is 2.98 hectares, Binh Dai district is 10.11 hectares). The total investment of the project is 2,255 billion VND, the implementation period is 2023 - 2025.
