From 2 PM on July 14th to 2 PM on July 15th, heavy rain will occur in many areas of Shaanxi, Sichuan, Hubei, Henan , Anhui, Jiangsu, and Inner Mongolia.
Some areas will experience localized heavy rainfall with hourly precipitation reaching 80mm or more, accompanied by thunderstorms and strong winds. The NMC recommends that local authorities implement appropriate response measures and inspect drainage systems in urban areas, agricultural regions, and aquaculture ponds.
On July 14th, temperatures in some areas of Xinjiang, Inner Mongolia, Hunan, Jiangxi, Zhejiang, Fujian, Guangxi, and Guangdong could reach 35 degrees Celsius.
The National Weather Service (NMC) forecasts maximum temperatures in some areas ranging from 37 to 39 degrees Celsius. During these extremely hot weather conditions, people should limit outdoor activities and take precautions to protect children, the elderly, and other vulnerable groups.
China has a four-level, color-coded weather warning system, with red being the most severe, followed by orange, yellow, and blue. For high-temperature warnings, China uses a three-level system, with red being the most severe, followed by orange and yellow.
