According to a VNA reporter in China, in order to facilitate new graduates coming to Shenzhen to find jobs and apply for interviews, many departments and businesses in the province have coordinated to launch a public service project, providing free housing for 7 days for the above subjects.
The Shenzhen Municipal Housing and Construction Bureau said the project aims to further enhance Shenzhen's attractiveness to out-of-province university students as well as attract more students from other provinces and cities to work in the city.
From November 14, 2024 to June 30, 2025, this public service project is expected to provide more than 10,000 apartments to support students coming to Shenzhen to find jobs with free accommodation for 7 days.
Residents only need to pay for electricity, water and cleaning fees after checking out. This helps solve the temporary and transitional housing needs of new college graduates coming to Shenzhen to find work.
To date, the project has attracted graduates from 275 universities to register, including students from major provinces and cities in mainland China such as Beijing, Shanghai, Hubei, and both Hong Kong and Macau Special Administrative Regions.
