Candidates should not register too many wishes, but should consider and allocate the number of wishes reasonably.

Candidates who have been admitted early to schools still have to register their wishes on the Ministry of Education and Training's admission system. "Last year, we had to deal with cases where candidates were so confident in their early admission that they went on vacation without registering their wishes on the system. When they learned that they had to register, the system had already closed," said Ms. Nguyen Thu Thuy.

Sharing at the 2024 University and College Admissions Consulting Day in Hanoi, jointly organized by the Ministry of Education and Training, Tuoi Tre Newspaper and a number of units, the Director of the Department of Higher Education further reminded candidates to keep their account to access the system confidential, because if disclosed, others may adjust and change their admission wishes.

Besides, you should not register too many wishes, but should consider and allocate the number of wishes reasonably with the majors you love and the majors with high chances of passing to limit the risk of failing all wishes.

Candidates need to rank their preferences in order of priority with the majors they truly desire and love. Candidates do not necessarily have to rank their early-admitted preferences first, but can rank them later if they are not their most favorite preferences.

If a candidate passes the first choice and is ranked number 1 in the system, the system will not consider the candidate further, even if the candidate meets the requirements to pass other choices.
