On the afternoon of July 23, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Board Nguyen Chin led a delegation of the province to offer flowers and incense at the Nui Thanh Victory Monument (Tam Nghia Commune, Nui Thanh). Also accompanying were representatives of the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs and leaders of Nui Thanh District.


The victory at Nui Thanh in May 1965 demonstrated the indomitable revolutionary spirit, bravery and determination to fight and defeat the American invaders. At the Nui Thanh Victory Monument, the delegation observed a minute of silence to commemorate the heroic martyrs who fell in the resistance war against the Americans to save the country. Next, the delegation offered flowers and incense to pay tribute to the generations of fathers and brothers who sacrificed for the revolutionary cause and independence of the nation.
Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Board Nguyen Chin and the delegation also visited and presented gifts to People's Armed Forces Hero Vo Hong Than, People's Armed Forces Hero Tran Thi Du, and 3 families of people with revolutionary contributions who are war invalids, resistance fighters infected with toxic chemicals, and relatives of martyrs.

At the places visited, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Committee Nguyen Chin warmly inquired about the health and wished the People's Armed Forces Heroes, war invalids and people with revolutionary contributions to always live happily, promote the spirit of Uncle Ho's soldiers, and encourage children and the young generation today to preserve the revolutionary tradition and actively contribute to the task of building and developing the homeland.
At the same time, local authorities should promptly grasp the situation, support and help policy beneficiaries overcome difficulties in life; review and fully resolve policies for people with revolutionary contributions.
