Sao Do University supports flood victims with 140 million VND

Right at the launching ceremony, staff, teachers and students of Sao Do University (Hai Phong) donated more than 140 million VND to support people in flood-affected areas.

On the morning of October 13, Sao Do University launched a campaign for all staff, civil servants and students to join hands to support people affected by storms and floods.

The school launched a campaign to encourage staff to donate at least 1 day's salary; students to donate at least 20,000 VND/person. With the spirit of solidarity, "mutual love", "helping each other", in the launching ceremony, staff and students of the school donated more than 140 million VND to flood victims. This amount will be sent directly to the provinces affected by storms and floods, including: Thai Nguyen, Bac Ninh , Lang Son and Cao Bang.

Sao Do University currently has about 5,500 students. The school has repeatedly launched campaigns to support areas severely affected by natural disasters and epidemics such as Covid-19, Typhoon Yagi , etc.
