A text message that is believed to be from a group of parents of a class at Le Hong Phong High School has recently been circulating on social media, regarding the solicitation of opinions on contributing funds to install a surveillance camera system for the school.
According to the content of the above message, the total estimated cost is 240 million VND, divided among 30 classes (each class about 8 million VND), each student will pay about 200 thousand VND.

In addition, this text message also provides information about the expected maintenance fee for air conditioners and televisions in 3 years, which is 15 million VND.
Paying this fee has caused many concerns, especially when the new school year has just begun and families have to spend a lot of money on their children.
Some opinions said that the cost of installing the camera at 240 million VND is too large, and the maintenance fee also needs to be transparent. Many opinions emphasized that the collection and disbursement should be based on the principle of voluntariness, not imposition.
When asked about this information, Mr. Ngo Duy Vien, Principal of Le Hong Phong High School, said "that is information on the internet" and affirmed that "the school has not forced students to pay" and has not called for it.
On the afternoon of September 25, answering a reporter from VietNamNet , Mr. Vu Dinh Hung, Director of the Department of Education and Training of Tuyen Quang province, said that he had received the information and was directing the inspection and review. The results will be announced later.
