"They take advantage of my image to deceive gullible people to get information or commit fraud and scams. Therefore, everyone should be vigilant to avoid being fooled" - Dr. Thien said.

According to records, not only Dr. Tran Dinh Thien, but in a short time, a series of economic and financial experts such as Dr. Can Van Luc, Dr. Nguyen Tri Hieu... also had to speak up about the fact that their names and images appeared everywhere on social networks, with invitations to invest in stocks, gold, and to buy get-rich-quick courses.

It is worth mentioning that these fake invitations all have the words "Sponsored", meaning the subject spends money to run ads to appear frequently on the social network Facebook.

Experts all confirmed that these social networking sites were impersonating and warned investors and people to be vigilant to avoid being scammed and losing money.

"Social networking sites like Facebook also need solutions to manage this situation, instead of letting impersonation spread like it is now. State management agencies also need to take positive and strict actions, because this situation is greatly affecting social trust, causing suspicion and possibly leaving behind consequences such as fraud and unjust loss of money" - Dr. Tran Dinh Thien said.
