From September 15, Ban Gioc waterfall tour officially piloted

The Cao Bang Provincial People's Committee has just held a meeting regarding the implementation of the Agreement on cooperation in protecting and exploiting tourism resources of Ban Gioc Waterfall (Vietnam) - Duc Thien (China). Accordingly, the province has sent a document reporting to the central ministries and branches on the operating time and operation method of the landscape area on August 31, and by September 10, completing the procedures to prepare for the operating ceremony taking place on the morning of September 15 at the Tourist Crossing at the Ban Gioc Waterfall - Duc Thien Landscape Area Checkpoint.

Ban Gioc was once voted one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the world.

The pilot period is 1 year, from September 15, 2023 to September 14, 2024. During this time, tourists from both countries will visit in groups, each group will not exceed 20 people. The stopover time of each group on each side will not exceed 5 hours.

Tourists are exempted from entrance fees from the Vietnamese side to China. The Vietnamese tour organizer must purchase insurance for tourists before entering the Chinese scenic area. Other services must be paid for at actual cost. Tourists from the Chinese side to Vietnam must purchase a ticket of 70,000 VND/person/time (including insurance, excluding other service fees)...

Previously, the Standing Office of the Coordination Committee for the Implementation of the Agreement on Cooperation in Protection and Exploitation of Ban Gioc (Duc Thien) Waterfall Tourism Resources of Vietnam and China in Cao Bang Province agreed with the Department of Culture and Tourism of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region (China) on opening the Ban Gioc - Duc Thien passage and piloting it for tourists to visit the landscapes on both sides.
