On February 21, speaking with Giao Thong Newspaper reporters, the administration team of the vehicle inspection scheduling application (TTDK app) said that, to facilitate users and reduce the time spent checking fines on the website of the Vietnam Register before going for vehicle inspection, the TTDK app now has an additional feature to automatically notify vehicle warnings.
Using the TTDK app to schedule a vehicle inspection, vehicle owners will receive information about fine warnings automatically sent to the notification section on the TTDK app and this notification will be displayed right on the phone screen.
Accordingly, when a user successfully makes an appointment for vehicle inspection, the TTDK app system will proactively check every day and notify the customer if the vehicle has a warning (a fine error based on data from the Vietnam Register).
Notifications will be sent directly to the notification section on the TTDK app and displayed on the customer's phone screen.
According to car owners, adding this feature helps them proactively update the vehicle fine situation so they can promptly handle it before taking their car to be inspected.
In addition, inspection centers can easily see vehicles that have scheduled inspection appointments at the center and are warned of fines so that they can proactively contact customers to remind them to handle the problem before taking their vehicles for inspection, avoiding forgetting and wasting time when taking their vehicles for inspection and having to return.
The TTDK app administration team recommends that customers should update the GCN stamp number (in the form of KA-1234567 (10 characters) at the end of the vehicle registration certificate) during the appointment process to receive automatic warning information. Users can also proactively check for fines in the "Warning Lookup" section on the homepage.
Evaluating this new feature, Mr. Nguyen Tuan (residing in Nam Tu Liem District, Hanoi ) said that when the demand for vehicles was high, he made an appointment for inspection a month before the day of the vehicle inspection. At that time, he could not find the fines when looking up the fines, however, a month later, when he brought the vehicle for inspection again, the inspection center informed him that a fine had been sent to the vehicle warning system.
"When I checked the delivery date, I found out that it was only 2 weeks before the due date. I had to return the car to process it before it was eligible for inspection. If this feature had been available at that time, I would have been notified earlier to process it, saving time," added Mr. Tuan.
The leader of a vehicle inspection center in Hanoi also said that recently, there have been many cases where customers brought their vehicles to be inspected but did not check or look up information about late fines carefully, leading to a situation where they had to wait in line for inspection and waste time, and when it was their turn to be inspected, they had to return because the inspector checked the information and discovered that the vehicle had been warned of a late fine.
Building new features on the TTDK app will attract people to use this app, thereby increasing the rate of people using the app to book online inspection appointments, helping inspection centers proactively monitor the number of vehicles and customers' inspection needs to arrange appropriate human and material resources. At the same time, the center will also support customers to monitor vehicle warning information to promptly remind, avoiding wasting time for both customers and inspection units.
