April 30 - a glorious historical milestone of the Vietnamese people - is always engraved in the hearts of every citizen with endless pride. This year, towards the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), the images at the parade not only remind us of the heroic spirit of our ancestors, but also open up a strong belief in the younger generation: a generation of new spirit and stature full of pride.
Young, strong troops
Looking at the young, strong soldiers, everyone can feel the surging vitality of the Vietnamese people. In particular, the appearance of the young men in the parade formation - young men with outstanding height and strong demeanor - made a strong impression on the public.

Many young soldiers in this parade are 1.75m or taller, standing out with their bright appearance and confident, radiant faces. These young people, in neat uniforms, striding proudly across the square, have ignited a strong sense of pride: Vietnam has a new generation - stronger, taller, ready to reach out to the ocean.
Not only are these images a moment of excitement, they are also vivid evidence of a persistent process of implementing the National Strategy on improving the stature and physical strength of Vietnamese people. This strategy has been implemented synchronously over many years, focusing on improving nutrition, health care right from the womb, increasing physical activity in schools and in the whole society. These efforts have begun to bear fruit as the average height of Vietnamese youth has continuously improved...
That change is not simply the numbers on the statistics board. It exists in every face, every enthusiastic step of the young people participating in the parade. The young soldiers - tall, steadfast, eyes shining with national pride - are the symbol of the achievement of a long-term and scientific strategy, and at the same time, it is also an affirmation that: the stature of the Vietnamese people is growing stronger, both physically and mentally.
Steady progress
Sharing with the press, many soldiers participating in the parade expressed their honor to be present in this important historical event. A young soldier was moved to share that, despite the hard training, everyone tried their best, because more than anyone else, they were aware that they were carrying the pride of their family and their country on their shoulders. Behind each step was a reminder to live up to the previous generation, those who fell for the victory of April 30 half a century ago.
That steadfastness is the new spirit, the spirit of a nation that has experienced countless challenges but never surrendered. That stature is the new stature, the stature of young, modern Vietnamese people, confident in integrating and mastering the destiny of their nation in the new era.
Looking at the young soldiers marching in the parade, people not only see their physical maturity, but also feel the burning patriotism, the ideal of living for the community, for the Fatherland that is still being preserved and continued by the young generation. This is strong evidence for the achievementsof education in revolutionary ideals, lifestyle ethics, as well as the achievements of national health and nutrition policies in building a solid foundation for the future.
To have a generation like today, Vietnam has gone through a difficult journey. From a nation that had to struggle in war, from years of deprivation in all aspects, we have gradually risen, not only in economic development, but also in comprehensive care for human development. The strategy to improve Vietnamese stature is not simply a matter of physical health, but more deeply, it is a strategy to build a healthy race, a nation that lasts.
In today’s competitive world, a nation that wants to maintain its position and develop sustainably needs not only intelligence but also a foundation of human resources with a young generation full of enthusiasm, strength, and expertise. Therefore, seeing young Vietnamese people – not only intelligent, enthusiastic but also tall and strong – is a source of inspiration and motivation for each of us to have more confidence in the future of the country.
The 50th anniversary of the April 30 victory is not only to review the heroic days of the nation, but also to affirm the enduring vitality and remarkable maturity of the Vietnamese people. The image of young soldiers in this year's parade with outstanding height and confident demeanor is a proud declaration that: Vietnam today is different. A country firmly on the path of modernization and integration, with people carrying within themselves a new spirit and new stature.
In the brilliant red of the national flag, in the majestic music resounding from the hearts of millions of people, the footsteps of the young soldiers seemed to be in harmony with the heartbeat of the entire nation. It was the heartbeat of faith, of aspiration, of the promise to continue the immortal flame of the soldiers of the past - the ones who made the historic victory of April 30.
We are proud of today's young generation. We believe that, with that foundation of physical strength, intelligence and patriotism, Vietnam will continue to reach far, standing shoulder to shoulder with the world powers...
Today's young generation is not only tall and healthy, but also has patriotism, the will to rise up and the desire to contribute to the Fatherland. They are the ones who are continuing the heroic tradition of their ancestors, ready to face all challenges to build and protect the country. |
