April 30 - a glorious historical milestone of the Vietnamese people - is always engraved in the hearts of every citizen with endless pride. This year, towards the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), the images at the parade not only remind us of the heroic spirit of our ancestors, but also open up a strong belief in the younger generation: a generation of new spirit and stature full of pride.

These young people, in neat uniforms, striding proudly across the square, have ignited a strong sense of pride: Vietnam has a new generation - stronger, taller, ready to reach out to the ocean.

Not only are these images a moment of excitement, they are also vivid evidence of a persistent process of implementing the National Strategy on improving the stature and physical strength of Vietnamese people. This strategy has been implemented synchronously over many years, focusing on improving nutrition, health care right from the womb, increasing physical activity in schools and in the whole society. These efforts have begun to bear fruit as the average height of Vietnamese youth has continuously improved...

That change is not simply the numbers on the statistics board. It exists in every face, every enthusiastic step of the young people participating in the parade. The young soldiers - tall, steadfast, eyes shining with national pride - are the symbol of the achievement of a long-term and scientific strategy, and at the same time, it is also an affirmation that: the stature of the Vietnamese people is growing stronger, both physically and mentally.

The strategy to improve Vietnamese stature is not simply a matter of physical health, but more deeply, it is a strategy to build a healthy race, a nation that lasts.

In today’s competitive world, a nation that wants to maintain its position and develop sustainably needs not only intelligence but also a foundation of human resources with a young generation full of enthusiasm, strength, and expertise. Therefore, seeing young Vietnamese people – not only intelligent, enthusiastic but also tall and strong – is a source of inspiration and motivation for each of us to have more confidence in the future of the country.

The 50th anniversary of the April 30 victory is not only to review the heroic days of the nation, but also to affirm the enduring vitality and remarkable maturity of the Vietnamese people. The image of young soldiers in this year's parade with outstanding height and confident demeanor is a proud declaration that: Vietnam today is different. A country firmly on the path of modernization and integration, with people carrying within themselves a new spirit and new stature.

In the brilliant red of the national flag, in the majestic music resounding from the hearts of millions of people, the footsteps of the young soldiers seemed to be in harmony with the heartbeat of the entire nation. It was the heartbeat of faith, of aspiration, of the promise to continue the immortal flame of the soldiers of the past - the ones who made the historic victory of April 30.
