(QBĐT) - Along with the strong development of the working class nationwide, the Trade Union (TU), cadres, union members, and workers in the province have developed rapidly in quantity, quality, and diversified in structure. The Unions at all levels have strongly innovated the content and methods of operation, focusing on the grassroots, effectively performing the function of representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of workers.
Inheriting and promoting the fine traditions of the Trade Union and the Vietnamese working class, along with promoting activities and emulation movements, Trade Unions at all levels in the province are constantly being improved and consolidated. The work of gathering, uniting workers and laborers and developing Trade Union organizations in non-state enterprises is focused on development.
Unions at all levels have actively advised Party committees, coordinated with authorities and professional colleagues at the same level to organize, implement, disseminate and study Party resolutions, State policies and laws; and done a good job of introducing outstanding workers to the Party for consideration, training and admission.
The Provincial Federation of Labor and all levels of the Union focus on propagating and mobilizing union officials, union members, and employees to be determined to put the resolutions of the congresses of unions at all levels, the Resolution of the 19th Congress of the Quang Binh Provincial Union, and the Resolution of the 13th Congress of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, term 2023-2028 into practice. At the same time, raise awareness and compliance with the law on occupational safety and hygiene (OSH) for employees and employers; strengthen measures to improve working conditions, care for, and improve the health of employees.
From there, perform well the function of representing, caring for, protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and employees; promote initiatives, improve techniques, improve labor productivity and work efficiency.

The highlight of the Trade Unions at all levels in the province is that they have launched and organized many practical revolutionary action emulation movements, suitable for many professions, characteristics of each locality, agency, unit, enterprise, attracting a large number of workers, civil servants, and laborers to actively respond. The results of the emulation movements have contributed to arousing creative potential, promoting the right to mastery of the Union members and laborers; creating a vibrant competitive atmosphere, promoting production and business, improving productivity, quality, and work efficiency.
Outstanding are the emulation movements, including: "Good workers, creative workers", "Initiatives for technical innovation, production rationalization", "Implementing administrative reforms, improving working methods in production and work" associated with the implementation of the movement "Exemplary implementation of discipline, administrative discipline, building a cultural and civilized lifestyle", "Good at public affairs, good at housework" among female employees, implementing the program "1 million initiatives to strive to overcome difficulties, be creative, determined to win the Covid-19 pandemic", innovation, creativity, efficiency in the activities of the trade union organization...
From the patriotic emulation movements, many typical examples of workers have emerged, who are advanced examples of "Good workers, creative workers", with strong influence in all levels of the Union, honored and rewarded by all levels and sectors in all fields.
With new methods and good models, trade unions at all levels in the province have built progressive, harmonious and stable labor relations in enterprises. With the achievements in all fields, trade union organizations have contributed to strengthening the leadership of party committees and raising the responsibility of authorities at all levels in paying attention to building the working class in the period of promoting industrialization and modernization of the country.
Trade Unions at all levels have strengthened coordination with functional agencies, authorities at the same level and employers in implementing specific programs and actions to prevent occupational accidents and diseases; improve working conditions, launch emulation movements, promote mass movements in occupational safety and health, contributing to building a safety culture at the workplace.
These days, trade unions at all levels in the province are focusing on mobilizing all resources to carefully organize activities in response to the Month of Workers and the Month of Action on Occupational Safety and Health in 2024; at the same time, striving to compete, achieve many achievements, and successfully implement the resolutions of Party congresses at all levels, term 2020-2025; effectively implementing the resolutions of trade union congresses at all levels, term 2023-2028... Following the tradition of the working class and the Vietnam Trade Union, cadres, union members, employees and trade unions of the province will always be united, determined, join hands and unite with the Party Committee, government and people of the province to successfully implement the set goals and tasks.
Believing that, with the attention of the Party Committee, the coordination of the government, professionals, the business community and the whole society, the Trade Union at all levels will have many exciting, practical and effective activities, truly bringing joy and happiness to the Union members and workers; building the team of employees and the Trade Union of Quang Binh to become increasingly strong, worthy of being the leading and core force to successfully implement the goals and tasks of socio -economic development of the province.
