From June 2 to July 25, organize summer activities for preschool children

Specifically, the summer activities will be held from June 2 to July 25. Based on actual conditions,preschools will agree on a specific time with parents or caregivers and will only accept children during the summer when ensuring safety conditions for schools, facilities, staff, etc. The Department of Education and Training requires preschools to regularly check the implementation of safety regulations for children at all times and places during the summer activities. For facilities that are building, renovating, or repairing schools and classrooms, there must be solutions to ensure safety and not affect children's activities.

In addition, preschools need to assign and arrange at least 2 teachers/class to implement the daily activity plan according to the content of nurturing, caring for and educating children during the summer. In case of teacher shortage, the school must sign a contract with teachers with qualified pedagogical expertise, and must report and receive approval from the Department of Education and Training.

Preschools need to develop review plans and organize educational activities appropriate to the age; absolutely do not teach the first grade program in advance in any form. Facilities with adequate facilities are allowed to develop plans and organize extracurricular activities for children (getting acquainted with English, learning martial arts, dancing, drawing, playing musical instruments, swimming, exploring experiences, etc.) appropriate to each age and have specific plans for each activity.

The management of revenue and expenditure for the above contents is implemented according to Resolution No. 12 dated September 23, 2022 of the Provincial People's Council on Regulations on revenue items and collection levels, revenue and expenditure management mechanisms for services serving and supporting educational activities other than tuition fees of public preschools and general education institutions in the province, with agreement and consensus between preschools and parents.
