From May 9, surprise inspections of milk production and trading establishments

(Chinhphu.vn) - The Hanoi People's Committee has issued Decision No. 2312/QD-UBND on establishing an interdisciplinary food safety inspection team at organizations and individuals producing and trading milk, nutritional foods, supplementary foods, and health protection foods in the city.

At the request of the Department of Health in Document No. 2004/TTr-SYT dated May 7, 2025, the Hanoi People's Committee decided to establish 2 interdisciplinary food safety inspection teams at organizations and individuals producing and trading milk, nutritional foods, food supplements and health protection foods in the city.

The interdisciplinary food safety inspection team conducted surprise inspections of organizations and individuals producing and trading milk, nutritional foods, supplementary foods and health protection foods in 30 districts, towns and cities from May 9 to June 15.

The interdisciplinary delegation is responsible for inspecting the implementation of food safety regulations at organizations and individuals producing and trading milk, nutritional foods, supplementary foods and health protection foods in Hanoi , ensuring effectiveness, focus and key points.

In addition to performing the tasks and powers specified in Clause 2, Article 70 of the Law on Food Safety, the Interdisciplinary Team handles, recommends handling or transfers cases of violations according to food safety regulations.
