From tomorrow 2-5, candidates register for high school graduation exam

On the afternoon of May 1, Mr. Huynh Van Chuong, Director of the Department of Quality Management, Ministry of Education and Training, said that from tomorrow, May 2, candidates nationwide will officially register for the 2024 high school graduation exam. The Ministry of Education and Training stipulates that all 12th grade candidates in the 2023-2024 school year must register for the exam online on the Ministry of Education and Training's exam management system (http://thisinh.thitotnghiepthpt.edu.vn).

Independent candidates register directly at the document collection points specified by the Department of Education and Training. The deadline for registration for the 2024 high school graduation exam is 5:00 p.m. on May 10.

The Director of the Department of Quality Management added that the Ministry of Education and Training does not organize a registration stream for the exam. Candidates nationwide can register for the 2024 high school graduation exam from May 2 until the end of the registration date as prescribed. The online registration portal for the 2024 high school graduation exam is open for 9 days, but in reality, in recent years, candidates have only completed their online registration for the high school graduation exam within the first 5-6 days.

According to Mr. Huynh Van Chuong, the Ministry of Education and Training is always on duty with the technical department to support the Departments of Education and Training and high schools during the time candidates register for the exam.

Previously, from April 24 to 28, the Ministry of Education and Training opened the online registration portal for the 2024 high school graduation exam according to the correct procedure. During the 5 days of organizing online registration, nearly 650,000 candidates registered to take the exam. "The Ministry of Education and Training's exam management system is running stably, ensuring that candidates who register for the exam are successful, and all preparations before the official registration date have been completed according to the correct procedure," said Mr. Chuong.

Hanoi has 30 locations for receiving application documents from 30 Departments of Education and Training that are ready to receive application documents from independent candidates.

The 2024 high school graduation exam will take place on June 27 and 28 with 5 exams, including 3 independent exams: math, literature, foreign language (English, Russian, French, Chinese, German, Japanese and Korean); 1 combined natural science exam including physics, chemistry, and biology; 1 combined social science exam including history, geography , and civics for candidates studying the high school education program or history and geography for candidates studying the continuing education program.
