Youth of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee organizes reunion day 'Pride of a country'

On the afternoon of April 25, joining the exciting competitive atmosphere towards the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), the Executive Committee of the Youth Union of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee organized the "Reunion Day - Pride of a Country" in 2025. The program had many meaningful and practical activities, rich in political education, inspiring action and uniting youth union members.

Attending the program were comrades: Tran Quang Hoa - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the provincial Party agencies; Nguyen Manh Phong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union; Nguyen Ba Tuan Anh - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Youth Union, Secretary of the Youth Union of the provincial Party agencies and many youth union members from affiliated youth union branches.

At the program, all delegates and members expressed their solidarity, desire for peace and national pride. The Organizing Committee also presented the Young Theory Club with the book Journey in Uncle Ho's Footsteps, arousing love for the homeland and the ideal of a beautiful life in the young generation.

Speaking at the program, comrade Tran Quang Hoa - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the provincial Party agencies affirmed: "The program is not only an opportunity to review history but also to spread patriotism to the young generation, the sense of responsibility, the will to rise up and the desire to contribute - the core values that make up the image of a union member in the new era".

Comrade Tran Quang Hoa also asked the Youth Union staff to grasp and spread the spirit of Resolution 57 of the Politburo on developing science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation. “If the youth do not master technology and take the lead in digital transformation, we will fall behind right in our own backyard,” Comrade Tran Quang Hoa affirmed.

At the program, delegates and members watched the documentary “Vietnam: 30 Days in Saigon” – a special work that vividly recreates the fierce days of struggle of the nation in the historic month of April. The touching images in the film remind the younger generation of the value of peace today, which was exchanged for the sacrifice of many generations before.

Union members also learned and grasped important contents in Resolution 57 of the Politburo on "Breakthrough in science , technology development, innovation and national digital transformation" and key tasks in the Action Program to implement Resolution 57 of the Central Youth Union.

A highlight of the program was the launch of the emulation movement “Digital Education for the People” – an initiative that inherits the spirit of “fighting illiteracy” during the resistance war, now materialized by equipping cadres, civil servants and youth union members with digital skills. The movement aims to improve the ability to apply technology in work and life, promoting comprehensive digital transformation in the grassroots political system.

Right after the political and ideological activities, the program moved on to the exciting sports exchange with two events: men’s soccer and women’s basketball. This was an opportunity for members to exchange, bond, improve their health, promote team spirit and be active and creative – typical qualities of young people in the new era.

On the same day, the delegation of the provincial Party agencies organized a visit and presented 8 gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mother Nguyen Thi Lan and families with meritorious services to the revolution in Nghi Phu ward and Hung Phuc ward, Vinh city. The gifts contained sincere feelings, demonstrating the morality of "When drinking water, remember its source" of the youth of the Party agencies on the occasion of the anniversary of the nation's major holidays.
