Accordingly, in order to create a strong influence and attract a large number of youth union members to participate, the provincial Youth Union chapters have organized many propaganda activities about the history of the struggle for national liberation and the revolutionary traditions of the homeland and country, through the activities of the Youth Union branches and associations with the theme "Following the footsteps of heroes"; organizing programs to perform revolutionary songs, cultural and artistic activities praising the Party, Uncle Ho and the heroic sacrifices of heroic martyrs; exchanging, meeting, discussing, dialogue, and talking about traditions with relatives of heroic martyrs, wounded and sick soldiers, former youth volunteers, etc.

During the peak week of "Repaying gratitude" (from July 20 to 27), the Youth Union at all levels organized more than 1,200 gratitude activities with the participation of over 20,000 youth union members such as: organizing "Gratitude Meals", the program "A day of eating, living, and sharing together" with Vietnamese Heroic Mothers and families of martyrs; building and repairing houses of gratitude, houses of charity, and houses of comrades; mobilizing and awarding scholarships to children of families of martyrs, war invalids, sick soldiers, and officers and soldiers of the armed forces; providing free medical examinations and medicine to families with preferential policies; repairing, beautifying, and creating a clean and beautiful environment at cemeteries, martyrs' monuments, and historical sites; visiting and presenting 245 gifts of gratitude to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers and families with meritorious services to the revolution... with a total value of nearly 200 million VND.

On the evening of July 26, the Provincial Youth Union directed the delegations of wards and communes in the province to simultaneously organize candle lighting ceremonies in gratitude at cemeteries, memorials, martyrs' steles, and war monuments in the locality.
The provincial-level candle lighting ceremony was organized by the Provincial Youth Union at the Provincial Martyrs' Cemetery (Tan Lap Ward) on the evening of July 26 and the Provincial Martyrs' Cemetery ( Phu Yen Ward) on the evening of July 27 with the participation of more than 3,000 youth union members.
The series of activities were organized to educate union members and young people about revolutionary traditions, patriotism, and national pride; at the same time, express the deep gratitude of the province's youth to the heroic martyrs and those who sacrificed and contributed to the cause of national liberation, construction and defense of the Fatherland. From there, promote the role and responsibility of the young generation in inheriting and promoting the revolutionary achievements of previous generations.
