Over 110 members and young people came to burn incense at the Bas-relief and Stele honoring Division 1; to remember and pay tribute to the heroic martyrs who heroically sacrificed their blood and bones for their homeland Tri Ton. At the same time, they heard information about the national historical revolutionary relic site O Ta Soc, important historical milestones of the An Giang army and people in this base area.
Union members and students also visited: Dien Troi Gam, Provincial Party Committee cave, Women's cave, Military Medicine cave, Logistics cave, Propaganda cave, Ong Dia belly; visited Ma Thien Lanh hill, where 7 soldiers sacrificed.
The activity aims to practically celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025). This is also a practical history lesson, helping students visit, experience, and learn about the years of "tasting honey, lying on thorns" of our army and people in the resistance war against the US. From there, promoting the tradition of the heroic homeland of Tri Ton, helping students have more motivation to study and practice, serving the Fatherland and homeland.
