TUY HOA: Providing 15 million VND in support to the family of a fisherman in distress at sea

Standing Vice Chairman of the Tuy Hoa City Fatherland Front Committee Bui Thai Long recently visited, encouraged and presented 15 million VND in support from voluntary contributions to help overcome difficulties caused by natural disasters, epidemics, and provincial-level incidents, to share some of the difficulties with the family of Mr. Dang Van Cu, residing in Quarter 6, Phu Dong Ward (Tuy Hoa City) after the fishing boat accident at sea.

Previously, the ship PY-90839TS owned by Mr. Dang Van Cu, while fishing at sea, unfortunately hit an underwater object, broke water and sank completely. At the time of the accident, there were 5 crew members on board, fortunately all were promptly rescued by a ship in Binh Dinh and brought safely to shore, however, all assets on board sank into the sea, with an estimated loss of nearly 1.2 billion VND.

According to Mr. Bui Thai Long, this timely support demonstrates responsibility to the community and the spirit of mutual love, with the desire to help Mr. Cu's family soon stabilize their lives and have more motivation to continue going out to sea.
