(BDO) On the afternoon of May 30, at the Provincial Sports Training and Competition Center, a ceremony was held to commend and reward coaches and athletes of Binh Duong Sports (TTBD) who achieved high results at the 32nd SEA Games and to reward the achievements of the collective of civil servants, singers and actors at the National Mobile Propaganda Contest "Vietnam's Sea and Islands" in 2023.

At the 32nd SEA Games, TTBD is honored to have 3 coaches and 14 athletes participating in training and competing in 10 sports. Specifically, 3 coaches are in charge of Muay, Petanque, Karate; 14 athletes compete in the following sports: Chinese Chess, Kun Khmer, Arnis, Pencak Silat, Boxing, Petanque, Tennis, Taekwondo and Women's Cycling.
At the end of the 32nd SEA Games, with their efforts and determination, the athletes of TTBD won 1 gold medal, 2 silver medals and 6 bronze medals, contributing to the overall achievement of the Vietnamese sports delegation at the 32nd SEA Games. The most notable of these were the gold medal of chess player Lai Ly Huynh (individual standard Chinese Chess competition) and 2 silver medals in Kun Khmer martial arts by martial artists Duong Duc Bao (48kg men) and Pham Thi Bich Lieu (52kg women).

With the achievements, athlete Lai Ly Huynh received a certificate of merit from the Prime Minister; 3 coaches and 8 remaining athletes received certificates of merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee. In addition, businesses inside and outside the province also presented gifts in kind and cash to Binh Duong athletes who achieved high results at the 32nd SEA Games.
In the field of Culture - Arts, in recent times, singers and actors of Binh Duong have continuously achieved remarkable achievements at national competitions and festivals. Most recently, at the National Mobile Propaganda Competition on the theme "Vietnam's Sea and Islands 2023" in Hai Phong, Binh Duong delegation won 3 gold medals and 2 silver medals. Binh Duong was assessed by the Organizing Committee of the competition as one of the two units with the best performance program out of a total of 46 participating provinces, cities and sectors.
