The Management Board of Construction Investment Project No. 2 has just held a conference to publicize the Investment Project to build a road from Thai Binh City to Hung Ha District (old), connecting with Hung Yen Province and deploying site clearance work.

The project starts at the intersection between the entrance to TBS Song Tra Industrial Park and National Highway 10 (in Thai Binh ward) and ends at the beginning of the Luoc River overpass (Ngu Thien commune) with a total length of about 24.8km passing through Thai Binh ward and the communes of Nam Tien Hung, Tien Hung, Hong Minh, Hung Ha, Tien La, Ngu Thien (Hung Yen province).
The total investment of the project is over VND 4,927 billion, of which compensation, support and resettlement costs are over VND 1,035 billion; construction costs are over VND 3,218 billion; project management costs, construction investment consultancy, other costs and contingency costs are nearly VND 675 billion.
The project is divided into two investment phases: Phase 1 (from Highway 10 intersection to Dong Tu intersection), total cost of about 3,735 billion VND. Phase 2 (from Dong Tu intersection to the right bank of Luoc River), total cost of about 1,192 billion VND.
According to the plan, the project is expected to be implemented from 2025 and completed in 2028, using capital from the local budget, the central budget and other legal capital sources.

At the conference, the Management Board of Construction Investment Project No. 2 announced the detailed scope, boundaries of land acquisition and site clearance plans in the localities. Accordingly, the project needs to clear over 186 hectares of land; of which 35.91 hectares have been cleared and handed over by the previous project, about 4.21 hectares of residential land, about 120.27 hectares of agricultural land and other types of land.
The investment project to build the road from Thai Binh city to Hung Ha district (old) is designed to meet the standards of a level III plain road, ensuring technical requirements on flood drainage, design frequency, safe and sustainable operation in the long term, while optimizing the cost of embankment, suitable for the terrain and economic and technical conditions.
Speaking at the conference, the leader of the Management Board of Construction Investment Project No. 2 of Hung Yen province emphasized: This is a key transport project, of strategic significance in completing connecting transport infrastructure, promoting socio-economic development and expanding regional connectivity space.
The route not only connects the center of Hung Yen province with neighboring localities but also creates a new development corridor, connecting industrial parks, urban areas, economic zones with the traffic axis of Ring Road 5 of the Capital region. The Project Management Board, Land Fund Development Center No. 2 and local authorities will closely coordinate in project implementation, especially site clearance.
On June 30, Hung Yen and Thai Binh provinces officially merged, taking the name of the province as Hung Yen, with the political and administrative center located in Hung Yen province. After the merger, Hung Yen has a total natural area of over 2,514 km2, a population of over 3.5 million people, expanding development space, forming a province with a large economic scale in the Red River Delta.
Hung Yen is currently implementing many important traffic projects such as: Investment project to build Ring Road 4 - Hanoi Capital Region; project to upgrade and expand the extended Hanoi - Hung Yen inter-provincial road, the section passing through the province; project of the road connecting Hanoi - Hai Phong expressway with Cau Gie - Ninh Binh expressway; project of the road connecting DT.387 with Hanoi - Hai Phong expressway (Km31+100); Tan Phuc - Vong Phan road project (intersection with DT.378), the road connecting cultural heritage, tourism and economic development along the Red River; coastal road, Thai Binh - Ha Nam, Thai Binh - Hai Phong routes; Ninh Binh - Hai Phong expressway, the section passing through Thai Binh and Nam Dinh...
