Vietnam team does something surprising before the decisive match against Malaysia

The Vietnam team decided to change training grounds to avoid revealing their tactics before the important match with Malaysia in the 2027 Asian Cup qualifiers.

On the afternoon of June 7, the Vietnamese team entered the second day in Malaysia, preparing for the crucial match against the host team in the final qualifying round of the 2027 Asian Cup.

In this training session, coach Kim Sang Sik and his team decided to move the training location to UM Arena located on the campus of the University of Malaya, to increase tactical security before the important match with Malaysia.

Before the training session, center back Thanh Chung said: "After a long period of continuous competition without any rest, my current physical condition is really not at its best, but my spirit is always 100%."

Evaluating the opponent, the Hanoi FC player said: "Malaysia has naturalized a lot and now we don't know who will play as a starter, so I have respect for all the players."

After the first round of matches, the Vietnamese team had the same number of points as Malaysia (3 points), but temporarily led Group F thanks to a better goal difference (+5 compared to +2).

Quoc Viet was promoted from the U22 team to the national team by coach Kim Sang Sik after Cong Phuong was injured.

In goal, Dinh Trieu tried to compete for position with Nguyen Filip.

Although playing away, the Vietnamese team is confident of winning all 3 points.

Hoang Duc could be one of the scoring options for the Vietnam team.

Cao Quang Vinh is determined to score points with coach Kim Sang Sik in his first time wearing the Vietnam national team jersey.

Coach Kim Sang Sik affirmed that he and his students have carefully studied their opponents Malaysia, aiming for victory at Bukit Jalil Stadium on June 10.
