The above is the sharing of billionaire Johnathan Hanh Nguyen after receiving gifts from students at the meeting and exchange at the University of Economics , Vietnam National University, Hanoi, on May 7.
On behalf of the whole school, Phan Duc Thao Nguyen brought a yearbook with hundreds of shares from students, to give to billionaire Johnathan Hanh Nguyen.
"Thank you for sharing your meaningful story. I am honored to sit and listen to your meaningful story. I hope to learn from your strong will"…

After reading the notes from the students, the billionaire was speechless. He choked up and shared: "I suffer from insomnia and this is the only medicine that can cure my illness."
Expressing his feelings, Thao Nguyen said that when news of his participation in the exchange with students spread, the school's registration link quickly became overloaded.
Not only students came to watch in person, many registered to watch remotely, with the desire to listen to the sharing of the famous businessman who has contributed a lot to the country.

Billionaire Johnathan Hanh Nguyen was speechless before the yearbook entries of students from the University of Economics (Vietnam National University, Hanoi).
"We were even more surprised when we met a close and friendly billionaire. He not only shared his expertise and gave advice to future generations of students, but also gave them internship and job opportunities after graduation," Thao Nguyen said.
Committing to the school, billionaire Johnathan Hanh Nguyen said that he will cooperate with the school in training and searching for talent. Accordingly, students about to graduate will have the opportunity to intern or work at this group.
He advised students that even if they are successful and have a position in society in the future, the most important thing is to always comply with the state's procedures and regulations to "eat well and sleep well".
He emphasized: "This is the principle that we have consistently implemented over the past 40 years since returning to the country. Any plans or actions, you need to consider carefully, ensuring both personal and family interests, and absolute compliance with the law."

This businessman also told his own story, from the process of applying for the position of financial inspector of Boeing Subcontractors. At that time, he was only 35-36 years old, with only a bachelor's degree from Seattle University (USA). While hundreds of other candidates were 50-60 years old with degrees and a lot of experience.
He applied, the recruiter looked at his profile and asked him a question: "Do you think our system needs to be fixed?" With his sharp financial skills, he pointed out loopholes in the tax reporting system, made a strong impression on the Board of Directors and was hired immediately.
The reason he told this story is because he believes that students who want to do business must know finance and must know how to read financial reports to know where the loopholes are.
This is not the era of "bookworms", no one forbids you from going to coffee shops and having fun, but you must know how to take advantage of the 4 years of university, spending at least 80% of your time in the classroom absorbing knowledge from teachers.
"What a lecturer says once won't stick, but twice it will start to stick, and three times it will stick forever in your head." When studying, students need to gather knowledge, accept innovative and creative thinking, and not follow the way of studying 40-50 years ago, "just studying from books, answering whatever the teacher asks is enough to pass," said businessman Johnathan Hanh Nguyen.
Answering a student's question about the importance of AI in business, businessman Johnathan Hanh Nguyen said: "AI is the pillar of sustainable development. In the digital transformation of the whole country, the corporation is not outside this field but must apply the most advanced technologies.
Don't underestimate AI, because if you don't adapt and develop faster, AI is completely capable of replacing you. This means that many students may even be unemployed before graduating because AI takes their place."
Mr. Johnathan Hanh Nguyen - founder and chairman of the Inter- Pacific Group (IPPG) - is one of 16 individuals named "Person of the Year 2024" by the British magazine.
He was honored by The Moodie Davitt Report for his contributions to aviation, tourism, duty-free retail and luxury goods in Vietnam.
Johnathan Hanh Nguyen truly opened Vietnam to the world after the embargo by convincing President Marcos (Philippines) to allow a Vietnam Airlines jet to take off from Ho Chi Minh City to Manila on September 9, 1985.
