Vietnam U17 is one of four Southeast Asian teams with tickets to the AFC U17 Championship finals next year, along with Thailand, Myanmar and Indonesia.

Among them, the U17 teams of Vietnam, Thailand and Myanmar won tickets thanks to passing the qualifying round. Meanwhile, U17 Indonesia got tickets to the 2026 AFC U17 Championship through participating in the 2025 U17 World Cup.
