
According to the current assessment report, out of 236 cooperatives currently operating, only 38 have applied information technology, using smart management and production software (accounting for 16%). E-commerce activities are increasingly vibrant with nearly 500 products being put on e-commerce platforms. The number of enterprises and cooperatives paying taxes electronically reached 97%. Many cooperatives have innovated their facilities to improve efficiency and production quality, approaching conversion to a new, flexible cooperative model, applying information technology, digital transformation, and adapting to market needs.
However, digital transformation in the field of cooperative economy and cooperatives still has many shortcomings and difficulties such as: The application of digital transformation in processing, cooperative management, and sales has not been focused on; lack of skills in building product advertising scenarios to attract customers in the electronic environment; the information technology system is not synchronized, the investment sources of cooperatives are still limited...
The conference discussed the difficulties and limitations of digital transformation in the collective economic sector. At the same time, it shared and introduced typical cooperative models applying e-commerce in the province; difficulties and obstacles in implementing information technology applications to support socio-economic development and implementing support content for building online product markets for cooperatives and members, ethnic minorities and people in the province.
On that basis, the Provincial Cooperative Union proposed solutions to support ethnic minorities in accessing market information and promoting trade and product consumption on the digital technology platform. In particular, continuing to strengthen propaganda, application of science and technology, digital transformation in cooperatives through mass media and social networks; selecting and unifying a free digital transformation ecosystem to support digital transformation of production and business activities of cooperatives; promoting training to improve the quality of consulting and support staff of the Provincial Cooperative Union as a foundation for organizing the implementation of assigned tasks.
