Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Cao Bang province received nearly 127 billion VND to support people affected by natural disasters

According to the information compiled by the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, as of 5:00 p.m. on September 17, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province had received nearly 127 billion VND from agencies, units, organizations, businesses, philanthropists and people nationwide to support people affected by storms and floods.


Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Cao Bang province received support to support people affected by natural disasters.

Of which, the amount received through bank transfer and cash is nearly 123 billion VND; the amount received in kind includes: over 65 tons of rice and over 240 tons of necessities with a total value of over 3.8 billion VND.

On September 17 alone, the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the province received 100 million VND in support from the Vietnam Writers Association; the Department of Dyke Management and Natural Disaster Prevention and Control donated 1,000 sets of solar LED flashlights, 1,000 water filters and some household appliances; the Military Region 7 Command donated over 1,300 Dasani water tanks; the Northern Food Corporation donated 10 tons of rice; Kim Oanh Group - the Charity Start-up Fund donated 150 million VND and 30 tons of rice and some school supplies; doctors Ngoc Trung, Van Hiep FPT - Van Anh FPT donated 2 motorboats and 2 rowing boats...

After receiving the aid, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province distributed it to the people in the hamlets and communes affected by the natural disaster. In 7 days, from September 11 to 17, the Vietnam Fatherland Front distributed over 27.3 tons of rice and nearly 173 tons of other necessities.

The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province hopes to continue receiving support and contributions from organizations and individuals to help people affected by storm No. 3 to soon overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.
