Collision between passenger car and truck leaves one person dead

HNN.VN - On June 4, on the National Highway 1A bypass in Long Ho ward (Phu Xuan district, Hue city), an accident occurred between a passenger car and a truck.

At about 1:30 a.m. the same day, the passenger car with license plate 36B-036.xx driven by driver MVH (born in 1977, residing in Nga Son district, Thanh Hoa province) was traveling in the South - North direction. When reaching Km 10+100 of the National Highway 1A bypass in Long Ho ward (Phu Xuan district, Hue city), the passenger car collided with a truck with license plate 17H-011.xx driven by driver VQV (born in 1981, residing in Dong Hung district, Thai Binh province) who was reversing in the opposite direction.

The collision resulted in the death of the VNHA bus assistant (born in 2005, residing in Nga Son district, Thanh Hoa province); the MVH driver and 4 passengers on the bus were injured. The victims were then transferred to Hue Central Hospital for emergency treatment. The accident caused the front of the bus to be completely damaged and deformed; the truck was severely damaged.

Immediately after receiving the news, the Traffic Police Department of Hue City Police sent forces to the scene to investigate the cause of the accident and regulate traffic in the area.
