Issues of aquaculture development are of concern to Nghi Xuan voters

Issues of fisheries development such as: additional support policies, increased handling of destructive fishing, dredging of fishing ports... were proposed by Nghi Xuan voters to the National Assembly Delegation of Ha Tinh province.

On the morning of September 28, the National Assembly Delegation of Ha Tinh province had a meeting with voters in Cuong Gian commune before the 6th Session of the 15th National Assembly .

Vice Chairman of the National Assembly's Foreign Affairs Committee Le Anh Tuan; Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Tran Van Ky; representatives of leaders of a number of departments, branches, sectors and localities attended.

At the beginning of the meeting with voters, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly's Foreign Affairs Committee Le Anh Tuan informed voters of the expected content and program of the 6th Session of the 15th National Assembly and the results of the activities of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation since the 5th Session.

At the meeting, voters of Nghi Xuan district proposed that the National Assembly and the province pay attention to investing in speed bumps as well as installing a street lighting system to reduce traffic accidents on Provincial Road 547 through the area; consider handling the Cuong Gian fish market (bordering Loc Ha district) that meets near the road, causing traffic obstruction.

Chairman of Cuong Gian Commune People's Committee Hoang Van Ha: Requesting National Assembly deputies to give opinions so that the Central Government can allocate resources to dredge and build a storm shelter at Lach Ken.

In the agricultural sector, many voters are interested in policies to support aquaculture development, strengthen the handling of destructive fishing methods that affect coastal resources; many degraded irrigation systems in the area need to be upgraded and repaired promptly...

Voters also recommended early construction of the Cuong Gian market project; attention to investing in clean water systems, waste treatment to ensure environmental hygiene and people's health...

Issues related to land management; replacing and adding some degraded electric poles; taking care of the health of the elderly; poverty reduction; handling environmental pollution in livestock areas; supporting life buoys for fishermen... were also proposed by voters.

On behalf of the National Assembly Delegation of Ha Tinh province, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly's Foreign Affairs Committee Le Anh Tuan acknowledged, received, explained and informed about a number of contents and issues of interest to local voters.

For opinions under the Central Government's jurisdiction, the Provincial National Assembly Delegation will receive and fully synthesize them and send them to the National Assembly and relevant agencies; for issues under the local jurisdiction, the departments, branches and Nghi Xuan district will be requested to promptly consider and resolve them.
