Deeply aware of the role, significance and importance of literature and art in social life, over the past years, especially in 2024, the Standing Committee of Yen Binh District Party Committee has paid attention to strengthening leadership, direction and organization of literary and artistic activities associated with the implementation of local political tasks.

For the first time, Yen Binh district organized a Literature and Art Composition Contest with the theme "Yen Binh innovation, development, integration"; a Contest for Voters to give advice on building Yen Binh homeland to develop richly, civilized, happy and design the logo of Yen Binh district; a Workshop on Preserving and promoting the cultural identity of ethnic groups in the Thac Ba lake area.

Yen Binh cooperates with units to organize many local creative reality programs with the participation of many majors from photography, music , painting, literature, fine arts... The district also organizes many mass cultural and artistic movements, especially among union members, youth and students such as literary and artistic activities to celebrate events and major holidays in 2024; Cultural and Sports Festival "Echoes of Thac Ba Lake"; organizes classes to teach the language, writing and folk performing arts of the Tay, Dao, Cao Lan ethnic groups...

Meritorious Artisan Hoang Tuong Lai in Xuan Lai Commune, Yen Binh District shared: "With the attention of local Party committees and authorities, the Folk Song Club of Ethnic Groups in Xuan Lai Commune was established. Since its establishment, the Club has promoted cultural and artistic movements of ethnic groups in the area. Personally, as the Chairman of the Club, I have worked with the Club to collect a lot of content about the unique cultural features of ethnic groups that have been passed down among the people, especially the culture of the Tay ethnic group in the Chay River region; opened a number of classes to teach Tinh lute and Then singing for children in the commune, especially for students from grades 5 to 9. In 2023, with the attention and facilitation of the leaders of Yen Binh District, I and the Tay ethnic elders from Xuan Lai Commune to Xuan Long Commune held a workshop on the cultural identity of the Tay ethnic group in the Chay River region, especially in terms of language, voice and writing… It can be said that with the district's attention to literary and artistic activities, people who understand culture like us have more motivation to participate in contributing and preserving and promoting the value of cultural identity, contributing to serving the political tasks of the locality".

Yen Binh district also propagates and encourages cadres, party members and people to actively participate in competitions organized by the Provincial Party Committee and the Central Committee such as: Writing political essays on protecting the Party's ideological foundation, fighting against erroneous and hostile views; Journalism Award on Party building (Golden Hammer and Sickle) of Yen Bai province in 2024; Award for composing and promoting literary, artistic and journalistic works on the theme "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style" in the second phase (2021 - 2025); Journalism Award on skillful mass mobilization of Yen Bai province in 2024; Journalism Award "For the cause of great national unity" for the 16th time, 2023 - 2024; National Journalism Award on preventing and combating corruption and negativity for the fourth time, etc.

Efforts to organize movements have brought about many positive results. The photo book "Yen Binh - Aspiration to Reach Far" was highly appreciated. Many good songs composed about Yen Binh district were widely popularized such as "Thac Ba" by Le Minh Son, "Yen Binh on a New Day" by Lam Dung Tien, "Huong grapefruit Dai Minh" by Thanh Tuu; many published books with high ideological and artistic value won national, regional and provincial awards such as: "Yen Binh and Love", "For the Sunny Seasons" by Duong Thu Phuong; "Loi Hen Voi Dong Song" by Doan Duc Binh, "Xom Nuoc Den" by Bui Kim Cuc...

Literary and artistic works about Yen Binh have made important contributions to the propaganda and education of patriotism, self-reliance, national solidarity and the aspiration to develop the homeland and country.

Cultural and artistic activities in the district are organized in accordance with the Party's orientation, in accordance with the actual situation of the locality and unit, creating a stable cultural and social environment, building a rich and healthy cultural and spiritual life among the people, contributing to promoting socio-economic development in the district; more clearly locating a land with many advantages in terms of landscape, people, and cultural flavor on the map of Vietnam.
